This multi-talented lady is not only a wonderful writer, but a voice actor, speaker, social media connector, and not to mention, a certified Angel Card reader too! I know, amazing right?! Blair says that she is ‘a deep soul, but also profoundly human and living a perfectly imperfect life’ and this is what I love about her, her endless capability to be so approachable and honest in her writing.

One of my favourite recent posts by Blair is about falling in love with your fears. This post shows a snippet of some of her beautiful writing and gives you a taste of some of the topics she posts on. Blair manages to keep a positive, upbeat vibe on her blog and intelligently weaves spiritual elements into it without completely taking people out of their depth. If you do one thing today, be it start reading Blair’s blog. You can keep updated with Blair through her Facebook page where she updates things about the blog and other great topics.

Anyway, here’s what Blair had to say when I interviewed her…

What sparked your interest in blogging?

When I lost my entertainment media job at the beginning of 2012, I knew it was time to reevaluate the direction I was going in life. I was a big ol’ pretender. I tried my best to fit in with the “norm,” doing what everyone else was doing around me – I became an expert at stuffing down what I really wanted because of fear I wouldn’t be accepted by others and even myself! As I saw a part of my old self pass on, I knew this was the time to start speaking my truth and using my own unique voice! Thus, my blog, The Turquoise Heart was born. I wanted use the true voice I have been given to speak about radical self-love and empowerment. I wanted to lead by example that being spiritually centered at a young age and focusing on positive side of life is an awesome choice we all can make! For the first time, I allowed my passions to drive and it has been the most enlightening and freeing experience. I can’t wait to see where the road takes me!

Describe your main passion in life.

Helping others (and myself) discover their limitless greatness! Yes, it is true…every single person on this planet has greatness inside of them. Some have already found it, others are looking, and some just don’t believe it! If we take a chance at uncovering our light, wisdom, and greatness we set our hearts on fire (TWEET THAT! twit-bird)We need strong and passionate lights burning in this world! There is no time to waste on something you don’t really care about, or are just pretending to (like I did!), we need your greatness now!

Do you have a favourite thing to do when you have some free time?

I absolutely adore road trips! I am the kind of gal that is happiest with the breeze in my hair, an Eagles song blasting out of my speakers, and open road! If I don’t have the ample time for a little impromptu trip, I love going for long walks with my puggle, Frankie and searching for the best margarita with my husband, Bryan!

Why do you feel it is so important that women embrace life and become more positive?

All of our thoughts become things and it is vital to our wellbeing to choose the best ones! Because whatever we choose to focus on, there becomes more of that. Positivity multiplies positivity and the easiest way to stay positive is to solely focused in the now, the present moment. Living in the past or feeling anxiety for the future takes away from our natural state of positive, calm happiness. Whenever you feel that tug-of-war from the past to the future, simply notice the feeling, let it go, and refocus your energy on this very moment. That is all you ever have to worry about, because it is all we ever truly have! Living in this way will inspire others to do so and it creates a ripple effect through your world! Notice and support the good in everyone!

If you had to describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be?

A trailblazing self-empowerment junkie + laughter enthusiast! (OK I know that’s more than three words!) 😉

Do you have a guilty pleasure?

Watching Game of Thrones, tattoo hunting on Pinterest (looking for the perfect eagle feather design!), a little peppermint chip gelato, and potato chips with cream cheese! I’m such a dork 🙂

What is your all-time favourite quote?

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget the way you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou (a fellow Aries sister!)
